Wonderfully helpful as always. As an architect I always asked my students
“Who are you looking at ? “ ( same idea in a visual context ). Then it becomes
a spirited dialogue about sources of inspiration. Can’t tell you how much I
learned as a teacher by listening to my students.
I love "Who are you looking at" re: architecture. Buildings, books, and businesses - we all need to be looking at something!
Thanks Craig, when I asked “ Who” I
wanted to know what other architects
they were looking at and why they found
their work inspiring. Of course the idea
of iconic architects soon entered the
conversation….that’s when it became
very interesting.
